Mid-Autumn Festival Dinner for Senior Citizens
Lions Clubs of Singapore Alpha Mandarin, Host, Nanyang, Oscar and Fort Canning are initiating the Mid-Autumn Festival Dinner for Senior Citizens and they are expecting some 200 elderly from AWWA Community Home for Senior Citizens and Lions Befrienders Service Association to attend.

Presidents and Members of the 5 clubs are inviting you to join them and the elderly at this celebration.

Details of the dinner are as follows;

Befriending Golf Classic

Befriending Golf Classic, jointly organised by Lions Befrienders and Lions Home for the Elders, will be held at Keppel Club on 10 September 2008 (Wed).  It is our great honour to have Mr. Lim Boon Heng, Minister, Prime Minister’s Office to be the Guest-of-Honour of the event.
 
The sponsors have added more excitement to the event by sponsoring a Mercedes-Benz Class E200 and cash prizes of $220,000 for the hole-in-one prizes.  They hope that their contributions could be shared with more support from companies and individuals who can also make a contribution towards the welfare of the seniors.

First Quarter District 308A-1 Mass Induction

Lions Clubs Of Singapore 308A-1 will be celebrating 50 years of community service in Singapore. This is truly a cause for celebration as we will be conducting our first quarter District 308A-1 Mass Induction; a day dedicated to honouring new members who have brought into our organisation and to recognise the dedication of the sponsors who have invited them to our clubs.
